it was tacked on ...

... hidden at the bottom of an article about the assassination of two government officials in iraq who were involved in some way in the ratification of the new constitution.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/08/29/iraq.constitution/index.html

the bit at the bottom (a good place for it, since most people only read the first few paragraphs of a story) said the following:

On Sunday, a journalist working for Reuters was killed and another was wounded, Reuters and Iraqi police said.

Iraqi police said the two were shot by U.S. soldiers. The U.S. military said it was looking into the incident.

A Reuters report said a Reuters Television soundman "was shot dead in Baghdad on Sunday while a cameraman with him was wounded and then detained by U.S. soldiers."

i can't imagine how much it sucks for everyone there, the reporters, the civilians, the soldiers, the police, everyone. but it angers me how much this is downplayed by the media.
