Want to know what the Internet looks like?

You'll notice that in the midst of what some are calling an IP address shortage, vast amounts of the available IP addresses are "owned" by entities that are using only a small portion of the available space (Xerox, HP, GE, Level 3, DEC, MIT, Apple, Merit, Halliburton, etc.), while some are not using it at all (Ford Motor Company, Prudential, Merck). Additional huge quantities of IP space are owned (not used) by the department of defense, the US Army, DISA, UK ministry of defense, etc.

Something on the order of 250 million IP addresses could be reclaimed from these these folks.
