time is no longer the greatest injustice of all

ok. so i haven't worn a wristwatch since high school, since the early eighties, or perhaps the (very)late seventies. i used a pocket watch for a bit, until it broke. and while i missed the pocket watch, i didn't particularly miss not knowing exactly what time it was. in fact, i spent many years with all the clocks in my control intentionally wrong (which is why linda now controls the clocks). of course, this millennium my cell phone has always kept time for me, for which i am forever (ahem) grateful.

but jay lake is evil, and leads us into temptation.

and you know, i bet i could make these tell the wrong time...
